Our long-term objectives for tall ship commissioning and shoreside campus development.
The AIOS vision spans three primary development horizons, clearly separating active capabilities from future plans:
Horizon 1: Vessel Commissioning (In Development)
Our primary effort is focused on the restoration and commissioning of the Sailing Training Vessel (STV) Relentless, establishing a stable afloat platform for student instruction.
Horizon 2: Waterfront Campus (Long-Term Vision)
Our plan includes securing shoreside facilities to house a sail loft, rigging shop, and classrooms. This campus will serve as a hub for both hands-on wood/metal fabrication and academic lectures.
Horizon 3: Shipbuilding and Apprenticeship (Long-Term Vision)
In the long term, the Institute plans to establish traditional shipyard facilities where students can learn wooden vessel construction and historical restoration under master shipwrights.
